"The Untamed" and then it went East
I use Twitter. My timeline is mostly BTS and stuff. But somehow last year it filled up with fanart of two males in loving poses tagged WangXian or sth similiar. Netflix was also promoting "The Untamed" hard on my main header for months. I was brushing it all off for months until someone posted "they are canonically married with a son" and my interest spiked up. I really though everyone was talking about some fanfiction regarding this show. But apparently it was not the case. So I started to watch it... and gave up after episode 3. It was my first Chinese drama. I was so lost. A month went by and I got a terrible back pain that pinned me to the bed for a week. I couldn't really move so I decided to give this show a second chance... and I binged 50 episodes in 3 days. The story sucked me in so deeply that I couldn't think about anything else. It gave me "butterflies" in the stomach every time I thought about it. And I was in distress after it ended. ...
